About Cassie's family

Hope for the Holidays

This family recently became connected with Firefly Survivor Advocacy after mom, Ranya, was experiencing domestic violence with her husband. Ranya has been dealing with becoming a single mom of three, navigating the court system after seeking a protective order, and using her support system to stay strong during this time. She has been working with an advocate to connect with resources and regain her independence. Her children are the center of her world. The family continues to stick together during these difficult times. This will be the first holiday season without both parents in the home however they continue to smile and love on one another.
