About Ebony's family
The Bell family (3) consists of a single mother and two young boys. This family has relied on services through Firefly in the past so mom knew that when she could take no more, Firefly would stand on its truth, being "The light in the darkness." She agreed to engage in services to ensure she and her family's needs would be met. Mom has shown outstanding resilience by demonstrating diligence as she and her family work towards reunification. She is also super intentional about her son's progressing in life through this experience--regardless of placement. She continually aims to teach and educate her sons on the importance of being respectful, assertive, and prioritizing their personal needs without fear of rejection or denial.

About Tremaine
Age: 11 | Gender: Male | Race: Black or African American
Tremaine is one of those kids whose smile lights up the room. He is extremely smart (my human calculator ) :) , is respectful, is thoughtful and is truly intentional about making others feel included. At first, Tremaine was shy, but recently, he has shared with HBT his love for basketball, family and math. Tremaine takes pride in his helping abilities, and always opens the doors for others if he can get there in time. His favorite color is red and he admires his big brother, Terrence. They often compete with one another but never forget to give credit where it's due. Tremaine would like to be a basketball coach when he grows up.

About Terrence
Age: 13 | Gender: Male | Race: Black or African American
Looks can be deceiving! Terrence is a tall boy that often gets mistaken for being older, but he is a caring, generous and playful kid at heart. Terrence is very personable and loves talking basketball! He is the best out there, let him tell it! :) But in all actuality, Terrence truly enjoys engaging in activities where he can perform skills that others acknowledge as greatness. Terrence has a bright smile and always attempts to do the right thing. He is the oldest brother and models appropriate and safe behaviors for his brother to follow, daily. At his age, this is tough-- but Terrence takes on this responsibility with stride.
