Mom is currently expecting child number two. It is a boy!! Mom began working with Firefly as a domestic violence survivor. She moved from her island to Indiana on January of 2023. Mom has been engaging in advocacy services continuously and has now applied for the child care voucher program to be able to go back to the workforce soon. The family often struggles with basic necessities and transportation services. Although there have been challenges, they have continued to hold hands and move forward. They are not only resilient but a really loving family with lots of love to spare. Mom shared how important it is for her to work hard to provide for the needs of her children as a single parent.
