Family Story
This family is working hard to rebuild stability and create a safe, nurturing home filled with love and laughter. After two of the girls were placed with their mother through Family Preservation Services, they’ve been focused on healing and moving forward together. Mom recently secured employment and is determined to maintain her job while working toward more stable housing for her children. Though finances remain tight, their home is rich with togetherness — they enjoy cooking meals side by side, cleaning as a team, and playing games that fill the room with smiles and laughter. Each day, they take small steps toward security and independence, supported by the guidance and care of Firefly. Their story is one of resilience, hope, and the power of family bonds that continue to grow stronger through every challenge.
Hannah Story
At 14 years old, Hannah is a laid-back, funny, and creative teen with a love for adventure. She has a great sense of humor and loves making people laugh, often surprising others with her quick wit. Though she’s easygoing and sometimes quiet, she connects easily with those around her through her kind and genuine personality. Hannah enjoys skateboarding and spending time watching her favorite videos on YouTube, where she finds inspiration and laughs.
